How to get started with your project
- Check the list of avaible projects avaible projects .
- Choose a project and talk to the potential supervisor/instructor.
- Email departmental project coordinator your choosen project @ ntzwane@uniswa.sz to cormfim that you and your supervisor agree on the aim of your project and the audience it is intended to.
- Arrange regular (e.g. weekly) meetings with your supervisor/instructor.
- It is a good idea, from the very beginning of your work, to start writing brief summaries/documentation on what you have done and what you have read.
- To get a feeling of what is required, go to the library and take a look at some accepted BSc. Physics projects.
- Check schedule for proposal presentations and other presentations.
- Remember that the project is a supervised work and you are entitled to get instruction for the related research and writing. Usually the supervisor reads your text 2-3 times so the first version does not need to be the final one. Before submiting any report to the departmental project coordinator make sure your supervisor has seen the report.
- The department recommends using this template ( for References ) for your thesis.
